NYSAHA NARCE SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION 25-26

The NYSAHA, in an effort to help local member associations manage successful hockey programs, will award 2 annual scholarships to attend the annual North American Rink Conference & Expo. The North American Rink Conference & Expo (NARCE), presented by the United States Ice Rink Association, is the premier annual professional development and networking event for the ice rink and ice sport industries. The 3.5-day event will bring together hundreds of ice rink professionals, ice sport national governing body representatives and leading vendors for world-class educational courses, unrivaled networking opportunities and the industry's largest trade show. Scholarship winners will receive a trip to the event, including transportation, lodging, meals and registration to the Hockey Director/Youth Hockey Leader Course at the Conference. The Hockey Director/Youth Hockey Leader Course is open to Hockey Directors, Hockey Administrators, and all youth hockey leaders and is presented by USA Hockey’s Hockey Development and Program Services staff. This course will provide attendees with tools and strategies to manage a successful hockey season by incorporating Long Term Athlete Development and Coach Development principals. Participants will interact with USA Hockey staff and industry experts to discuss the essentials of managing a successful Youth Hockey Organization.Workshops and presentations will give attendees an opportunity to take a more in depth look at relevant programming, best practices and proven strategies to grow and sustain your youth hockey participation. The course is designed to help attendees provide their organization’s members with the best possible youth sports experience.
NARCE EVENT INFORMATION
